I.P.R. or InterProximal Reduction (sometimes called A.R.S. for Air Rotor Stripping) is simply the removal of interproximal enamel to reduce the mesial-distal size of teeth.
It became popular when orthodontists started bonding brackets on teeth instead of using bands. The interproximal surface became available and with the work of Dr. Jack Sheridan, the popularity of A.R.S. increased.
If you need space, you have to find a way. In this course, you will see that IPR is definitively a safe way to gain space and it's backed up by science.
If you want to know how to do it and how to plan your cases to do it well, this is the course for you!
- Understand what is IPR
- Evaluate IPR in the ClinCheck® software
- Stage IPR in the prescription and in your cases
- Feel comfortable using, planning, and performing IPR
- Review scientific literature on IPR
